CONSUMER PERSPECTIVE
Whether buying or selling a property, consumers will continue to engage a legal or conveyancing practitioner to guide them through the transaction and ensure due diligence and other requirements are met.
Consumers will authorise their chosen practitioner to use NECS on their behalf. The practitioner will formally verify the identity of the consumer and create a shared electronic workspace within NECS for the transaction. Consumers will be able to monitor the progress of their transaction through limited Internet access to the NECS shared workspace.
