National Governance Arrangements
The key to NECS implementation is the involvement of industry stakeholders together with jurisdictions so that the NECS is a system that industry wants to and can use. The proposed National Implementation Strategy has been discussed by the National Consultation Forums, as well as with the state project teams and the national project tems along with the National Business Model, to ensure that NECS works for business and government stakeholders across Australia. It maps out a four year timeframe for setting up, building and rolling out NECS across Australia. It consists of four stages:
