Ongoing Stakeholder Consultation
The NECS initiative continues to provide a wide range of opportunities for key industry and government stakeholders to have input into the development and implementation of NECS. Our main stakeholder engagement tools include the:
• National Steering Committee, which provides representation from each jurisdiction, together with all major stakeholders
• National Project Team, which meets regularly to consider industry requirements for NECS at the national level
• State Project Teams, which lead consultation with land registries and industry within each jurisdiction
• Independent Expert Advice Consultancies, which are required to incorporate extensive stakeholder consultation into their work
• National Electronic Conveyancing Office, which has staff available to speak to organisations and individuals about NECS.
